Hello Yves, I've read on the matrixsynth that you are going to introduce new modules during next Christmas and in these new modules there is a BPM MasterClock Very Happy Very Happy

Is the utility of this module the same that I've suggested on this thread?

Would be great !!! Smile

PS : I'm impatient to see the new modules Smile

Hi Thalassa

Yes it's nearly completed, and the idea of this module came from your suggestion.

In a few words it is based on a cheap PIC microcontroler which provides. The rate is displayed with with three 7 segment led displays, and it is set by 1 BPM steps using two push-buttons (up and down). Many outputs are made available one is a SYNC24 (24 times the clock rate) to synchronise external drum-machines, and others outputs are provided at the BPM clock rate, twice the clock rate and three times the clock rate to drive sequencers. This module will also be the core clock for a sequencer I am developing.

Shocked Shocked Shocked

Really nice !!! Will be a great way to use the modular as the main clock source and to sync the modular with other equipments ( soft sequencers, multiefects etc etc ).

same here have been looking for a bpm clock for a while now
Is there any way it could also have slave to incoming midiclock as well as being master ? not a critical thing, just nice. I will make one of these in any case as soon as its available

I must admit that the midi clock Input would have been a great option. But this is maybe because i really need something to interface my DAW Laughing

Anyways, great module, looking forward to add that one to my never ending backlog.

Merci Yves
