Thanks guys, ...... my friends really. Things just got so busy because of continuing renovations in the house that I felt that I could not fullfill my obligations to do a "regular" schedule" .... I think what I would like to do is perhaps announce a special show that I put togther form time to time. Thats better for now I think. Also, as far as format, yes, Shane. More true to the spirit of the show and thats to feature "hand made music" AND more live "improvisational" broadcasts. Working with some of you personally (Shane and Jez) and doing more LIVE stuff is something I am getting more interested in so I want to do more of that.

So, I am not gone for good. Just rethinking things musically AND getting some projects at home out of the way.

I love all you guys man !!! Your a great bunch seriously !!!!

Your friend
Bill

I thought i was going to have to fly to New York and force feed you haggis Bill.
I & We crave our diet of 8-bit / weird electronica , that in a way, bridges the gap between ambient drone and hard techno.

The Soldering musician show was the first to air to the world Skrog artists :- Orchard & Epicyclus , I solder alot but also make music with the builds , i think there should be more submissions to you from the DIY forum regulars.
Even if it's a simple cover of 'i feel love' Donna Summer on a new built 16 step sequencer.

Once the house repairs are done , the bug will come back , with vengance....

Dave (almost in tears)

Just a thought.... maybe you need a monsterous banner in the DIY forum , i think there will be a few who don't stray any further than that forum itself.

Hmm, to be honest having some of my music on an episode of The Soldering Musician was kind of a long term goal, so if you decided to do an occasional show that would be great, so I can actually get my 'act' together and come up with a completed piece. Smile

Thanks Les & Phobos ! I was just in contact with my buddy Mike, from Neorev, and we are considering doing a 3 hour radio concert. Just have to see who is available to perform and then book the time slot on Electro music radio.

In the mean time, how many others are interested to hear more Soldering Musician radio broadcasts? I can whip up a couple shows have another go at it.

Some of my most relaxing times was to play some of my favorite electronic music and build electronic projects. After 30 odd years of doing this, it still not lost its spark Smile

Thanks guys ....
Bill

Bill, I'm all for whatever you want to do on electro-music radio or on the forum. I know you do a lot of behind-the-scenes product development (Klee, Appendage, etc.) and give out free chips to folks like me, but we really miss you on the radio.

Or at least I do, speaking for myself. Your music and Neorev and pals' music used to really rock my socks off! In fact, I think I'll listen to a show or two tonight. I have neglected the archive as a music source.

Remember the time at EM09 when you performed right before me and your music gave me confidence and lilterally erased the heebie jeebies I had, just what I needed? Yeah, that was a good time and there will be more. Come back, please.

Les

Yes please bring it back.

I had the chance to meet Bill at EM2012 this past weekend. I heard him talking to someone and recognized the voice as the guy from that awesome radio show that I hear replayed all the time on the radio stream. I had to go over and introduce myself Smile

Well I know Dan a.k.a. kid_sputnik now going under the name Daniel Bytes is totally down to come back on Bill's show. I'm game and I'm sure we can get Kid Versus Chemical out for the night and have the Midi Bear family all back together again on EM's online radio.
