Unfortunately, they only support MP3, RA, or WMA files. I wouldn't want to download any music unless it was in uncompressed fromat, but that would take a very long time. I know that lots of people only listen to MP3 and thing it "sounds great".

Yes, I did, but it won't be long before I drop out of mp3.com and just use electro-music.com. First I have to get the playing figured out. I was snooping around the store software, and it does have the capability of charging for downloads. It would still have to be compressed, but...

Say, if I did a 10 minute inprovisation like I'm going to do in London next week, do you think anyone would pay one dollar to download an mp3?

A bit OT: But this article about Mariollion and how they manage their business now is quite interesting. They are also making the fans preorder their new CD.

I read all the article! It's great! I do not like music like that but I very much respect someone like them. Surviving in the music business for so long managing themselves is a great accomplishment. Kudos to them!
