Well I am a registered iPhone apple developer and the writing the app is the easy bit, the jumping through hoops in order to get machines and devices working in the dev environment is a bloody nightmare, and I mean a real nightmare of Gothic proportion.
The recent update of the SDK caused my iTouch to stop running code I was developing, after a good 4 to 5 hours of trying the set it up again I gave up and promised myself I would never go near it again. |

Interesting. So, using this, one could technically take your own samples and bits and build a simple sample playback app. I don't do programming well, I'm a GUI kind of person. But this seems to be doable even by me.
Just deleted my dev kit however as my subscription expired and I didn't use it. I had high hopes of talking my programmer brother into helping me do a game so we could get stinky rich and buy everything we ever wanted. _________________ My Circuit Bending Site (Coming Soon)

Me too! Until my brother decided that iPhone's sucked, and he was waiting for Android.......which I must say, hasn't really materialised? _________________ ACHTUNG!

Whaddyamean? I have an Android! But sure, appwise it isn't close to iPhone, especially since I'm not allowed to buy apps here in Sweden, only look at the freebies...

What? No apps in Sweden?? You'll have to come and live here in Birmingham! We have lots of Swedes here too. (Perhaps because the can't get their apps too? ) _________________ ACHTUNG!

Heh, maybe I should. Every now and then stuff like this happens, just because we're a small insignificant country stowed away in a forgotten corner of Europe. It was the same with the iTunes store - didn't happen in Sweden until a year or so after the rest. Sure, there are lots of places on the planet that are worse off in many ways, but it feels like Sweden often gets to be the lone girl left at the side when all the others have been asked to dance (or whatever similar metaphor you feel comfortable with.)

Hey I work in Copenhagen, we should meet up for a coffee/drink sometime.
As its the normal Danish "Lets take two weeks off over Easter Holiday", I wont be there for a few weeks.

Sure! Send a PM! I work at Kongens Nytorv every day for at least another month and a half.
