This might be a dumb question but where do i buy the stuff to bend it? and the insulated wire with alligator clips do i have to make that? im sorry if these are kinda dumb questions but im kind of a caveman when it comes to technology. Any help would be appreciated

Hi,
I buy the cheapest alligator clips may dealer sell.
IMHO a stompbox is not the easy object for start bending...
you need an audio input signal and an output amplification...
maybe not but I think you can try with something else before, something
like an old toy...
in way to learn how to do and what looking for... ;D
what pedal is it? Maybe we can help you... _________________ Yes! Oh Yeah! Wow!

The pedal is a digitech death metal pedal, but my brother wants it so I will probably end up buying some danelectro pedal. I'm willing to buy some cheap toy to learn but i'd rather not. Also i was wondering what kind of store you buy this stuff at because i wouldnt be able to start without any equipment to work with.

I see you live in the states.. Ever heard of Radioshack ?
Get a Daneelectro Fab Echo.. It's cheap, and it can be modded to a serious monster...

I'm just going to repeat what everyone else is saying and add on to it a bit. Start small, then go large. Learn the basics first (pick up a good book on it) because without knowing what does what and what can hurt you (yes, certain caps will easly throw you acrost the room when discharged), you are just walking around aimlessly.
Even a great circuit bender will often kill a toy or a pedle trying to bend it (thus rendering it useless)....imagine how a newb is going to do?
Best thing to do is use the pedle in conjunction with another toy. One of my songs I take a mic and place it on the speeker of my circuit bent Playschool keyboard, run it into a distorion pedle then into a wah pedle, then into some onboard effects on my amp and the results are spectacuarly noisy. Try that instead of frying the pedal on the first try _________________ Assistant brewer for Hoppin' Frog Brewery

i definately enjoy the sounds coming out of that pedal, but i was thinking more like a regular pedal, like it changes the sound of a guitar you plug into it.
