My name is Justin. Some of you may have stumbled upon my website: burnkit2600.com (it's in the list of DIY sites here). My band and i make music with circuit-bent, modified, home-built electronic instruments, and video game hardware.

I've been chatting quite a bit with RichardC64, a regular contributor here, about mods for the synsonics drum machine, analog drum circuits, etc.

I've been having fun lately with CMOS oscillators, Richard directed me to the Lunetta forum. There's a lot of neat info there, i think that's where i will start...

I recently bumped into Mosc at Bent Fest in nyc. And he convinced me to stop lurking and join. So here i am!

welcome aboard Exclamation I haven't been reading the bending posts on this site much, but as a former electronics tech a few decades ago, it's on my wish list. I mostly do software these days.

Mosc is a good guy to bump into.

Planning to come to EM2009? Maybe see you there.

I want to go to EM2009, it sounds like a blast! Mosc was talking about that at bent fest. My car just died, tho (251,000 miles!), so i'm lacking in the transportation and money departments. But maybe i can convince one of my band members to drive me...

Yeah, my band and i have been big into circuit bending for many years now. I'm good at reading schematics, and putting together circuits, but now i'm wanting to get into the theory of it all. This seems like a good place to start!

Thanks for the welcome.
