Hi,

How can I start/stop a loop in my G2 when I press play/stop in my main sequencer (Cubase SX3) ?

In my patch, my ClkGen source is on "Master". In my G2, system/MIDI Clk Recvl is turn to "On". Can I have to add another module if I want my G2 run at the same bpm from the main external sequencer ? Someone have a exemple ? Thank you.

Edit : In the editor, Synth/Synth Settings, "ignore external clock" is unchecked. My Access Virus and my ESX (Korg) are sync in slave (Master : Cubase) without problem.

When the G2 is sync (slave), the tempo box (in the editor) turn to red and the tempo is sync to the master... but damn...what I do wrong ? the tempo box don't turn to red for me. Can I have to add #cc 80 (assigned to start/stop) and send it to my G2 ?

Hmm, it should work for when you do as you describe. Just to check: have you connected your computer to your G2 with a MIDI cable? The G2 can't be synced like this over USB.

When you have this working, there is an output on the ClkGen module that says "Clk active". You can use this to react to start/stop events from the clock master.

/Stefan

yes my g2 is connected to my pc with MIDI cable. I use a surface control (Novation Remote 25) to control my G2 too and it's work fine... All my gear is connected to a MOTU MIDItimepiece 8x8. Can you send me a working patch please to test it ? Does anyone have an idea ?

Edit : Solved. The problem was in the sync setting in Cubase. I forgot to check my G2 MIDI channel. Cya!
