good to know. the response has been a little bit weak, seems there is not that much interest in a PCB for this. however it is summer time... anyways, i will order the 2nd prototype board soon (made some minor changes), build it, and then ask for interest in professional manufactured PCBs for this project.

meanwhile i will work on the SDS3 single voice PCB Very Happy

Just a question-are the mounting holes on the board the same width apart as on the 292c so it can piggyback on the board using a couple of spacers? It would be really cool if it didn't need a separate mounting bracket Very Happy

I'm interested in a few. Once there is an estimate for the price I'll know how many I want.

that's the idea, and that's exactly how i did it. i am currently waiting for the exact data from thomas, since my prototype does not fit exactly (due to odd distance?).

Thanks

Fonik, I'll take one for sure (maybe 2) if you promise to help us relative newbs out and supply a nice list of parts and wiring diagram so I don't screw it up. Very Happy

sure!
the 2nd proto is supposed to arrive this week. i will build it up, test it, and then set pricing and a deadline for advance orders. so there is enough time for me to come up with nice building docs.

the prototype is tested now and it works fine. you could mount it piggyback style on your TH LPG 292c PCB, even the mode switch pads are in the correct position, so one could use long pins instead of headers/cables to connect the boards.
however, i brought the actual switch terminals of the IC to pads, so this board could be used as gate controlled 3-pol on-off-on switch for other projects.
switching audio can always be a problem, i believe. so it is here: you might experience little pops when switching audio, depending on the signals you are switching. you will have experienced this with professional modules, too.

i will write up some building docs soon, boards should be available end of september.

i am taking advance orders until 16 SEP 09, 12:00 UTC

PRICING:
(under the assumption of minimum advance orders for 50+ PCBs):

PCB 7.-USD/5.-EUR

+ packaging & postage
deutschland: 2.-EUR
europe: 3.-EUR
worldwide: 1 PCB 4.-USD, more than 1 PCB 8.-USD[/b]

Great! I'll take two boards.

What's the "correct" way to order, Matthias? PM, email?
