Hi Fonik,

Got my boards - thank you!

I built one up today and added it to a LPG board... I noticed a couple of changes needed in your docs whilst doing so:

1) the CD4053 is still listed as a CA4053 Wink

2) the power wiring diagram is slightly wrong. If using the MTA100 from the LPG board to extract power, the black connection should move along one hole to the left (next to the -Ve connector) So if reading from the left, looking at the docs, it should be:

NC, blue, black, NC, NC, red.

(If you get what I mean!)

The board works really well, and adds great functionality to the LPG - I can't imagine using it without one now!

Charlie

HA HA its a mess really - just a prototype to get an idea of the panel I'll do eventually... I'm making 8, so I wanted to get it right before doing a whole load of panels...

I added a 1/4" audio input so I can interface easily with my samplers...

I also added a pic of it in the rack, just above it is a Fonitronik TH SuperController, another great module!

Charlie

and again thank you for the pointer:

LPG292c Expansion

EDIT: rev2/2-nov-09 - change in wiring diagram page 2 (MTA-100 connector)

I think using chocolate for the panel graphic is a great idea!!

Fonik, I got the expansion boards. Beautiful, as always. Thank you so much!

I finally decided to finish with the turquoise panels, as I have two racks now, and I can't help going for a new look!

So here is one (of eight) of my new modules, with Fonik's gate board added.

Looks cool (to me), though I think it would look better with cream Davies knobs, and maybe cream banana sockets.... Mmmmmmmmmm...

Charlie

Hey Fonik,

Sorry for pushing but do you have news about any extra PCBs ?
I 've already received the parts for those circuits but banzaieffects made a mistake and sent me 3pdt on-on switches instead of on-off-on. So I decided to build my two LPGs both with your expansion boards.
If they 're over I think I 'll build on stripboards...
thanks,
tommi

OT:

that quantiser from Scott looks cool, doesn't it ?
4of those in a row, each with 12 little pushbuttons with LEDs..........similar to what docvague have brought up back then,
mmmmhhhhh, mjam, mjam

there is nothing more needed in the DIY world and also on the euromarket i'd say Wink
must be two or four. so one can be patched to transpose the otherone.
*hint* *hint* *dream*
