Very cool...

Note: I edited your post to include the picture. You can copy pictures from other sites into your posts to make them more visually interesting using the IMG bbcode tag. See http://electro-music.com/forum/faq.php?mode=bbcode

It's good to see someone keeping at the process of perfecting analog synth design. This doens't look to far from the CAT-3 synthesizer, but everyone is unique - like people.

Cat-3 ?

They reorganized the company and started the development of these...

I tried to get them.. but it was seemingly impossible to both order AND get them sent to Norway.

Really? CAT became Voyettra?

I had a Voyettra software MIDI sequencer. It was probably one of the best of the mid-eighties. I switched to Cakewalk when they went OOB.

I say someone once play live a Voyettra 8 synth. I was very impressed and wanted one, but our two children got all the toys. Laughing

Yes, The Cat was made by Octave-Plateau electronics, which later became Voyetra.

I'm excited by the rumors that some of these instruments may be coming back! Any details available on the Cat-3?

Who is making the cat-3? the latest incarnation of the Turtle Beach dudes? I have not heard any rumours about a CAT-3.. but there was this brit DIY kit back in the mid 80s that pretty much was an enhanced and improved version of the CAT2rev3

Since we're on a retro-trip here, does anyone remember Sample Vision?
