Triple Chorus Caps - Substitute Values? |
|
|
Hi all,
After putting it off for the past year or so, I've finally got round to building the triple chorus... I'm on the last 3 x 2.7nf poly caps, but the closest value I have is either 2.2nf or 3.3nf. Does anybody know if these would be ok? It's either that or waiting for another order from Mouser (and the hefty postage costs to the UK).
Thanks,
Andy. _________________ Kronos 2-88, Kronos 61, Studiologic Sledge V2/SL, Broadwave ARP 2600EX, Broadwave 18U ARP based Eurorack Modular, Broadwave Minimoog Clone, GEM S2 Turbo.

Just use 2.2nF and 470pF in parallel connection.

Many thank Jurgen - works like a dream
Out of curiosity. I had a look at the Omni/Quadra chorus board and was surprised how simple ARP's design was... just 3 LFO's directly feeding the delay lines, no slow/fast cross modulation or 120/240 phase shift.
Have 3 spare TCA350Z hanging around... not sure what to do with them, as there's little info about them around! _________________ Kronos 2-88, Kronos 61, Studiologic Sledge V2/SL, Broadwave ARP 2600EX, Broadwave 18U ARP based Eurorack Modular, Broadwave Minimoog Clone, GEM S2 Turbo.

I think the Omni chorus is very pleasant, too.
Here's my TDA1022-based version of it:
