Blofeld sample playback question

Hi,

There doesn't seem to be a great deal of info around on the Blofeld's sample playback capabilities, can anyone enlighten me as to how it currently works? i.e:

- can you play your samples polyphonically?

- To what extent can you modulate your samples? Can you put them through everything that a normal Osc goes through?

- Is there any destruction in audio quality?

Can you clarify this a bit? Do mean, every time you turn the synth on you need to re-load the samples?

Thanks for the clarification. I've been considering what to get next, and the Blofeld is at the top of my list.

So what then can the Nord Wave do in terms of sample processing that the Blofeld cannot?

I cannot figure out how the Blofeld seems to offer all it does for so much less £ than other VAs.
