Oh sorry, I didn't look closely enough - when I click it says:

My roommate brought her cat with her when she moved in. The cat looks a lot like the one in the video. It's amazing how cats have such individual personalities. The one who lives with our drummer is very sweet. Ours is very demanding and spoiled.

I finally got mine on Friday and am loving it! I've not used the 3G nearly as much as I thought thus far. But I am sure that will change as I watch streaming Netflix and ABC Player shows. Smile

While waiting, I got the HD version of Looptastic and iElectribe. The latter, I have no clue how to use beyond just dabbling. I really need to figure it out because it will help make some sweet tunes. I've never used the Electribe, so it's new to me.

One of the things I like about the app is that it's full of lovely sounds premade, but I want to make my own. I also like that you can change the background image from the red brushed metal graphic to anything you want.

My only issue thus far with iElectribe is the low memory errors I keep getting. Korg needs to get that fixed pronto.

Now I want some of the other apps to be updated for the iPad, like BeatMaker. And I'd really like to see some official apps from Roland among others.

Idea I really hope Clavia are reading this. Wink

Hans Nordelius?? R U there/listening??

The G2 was available as a demo for both OSX and Windows. A port to the iPad would only be a case of converting to Objective-C Touch- most of which could be C anyway, then optimising the code (because it ran pretty piss-poor on Macs compared to PC's).

What are those friggin Swedes waiting for?? Question Question Question Idea

The G2 demo is DSP code code ran on an emulator ... would be prohibited by the anti Flash policies put in place by Apple Laughing

I'd love to have one though!

The demo was a Flash program?

I have to admit, I've had fun learning how to code in Flex (Adobe's Flash programming language). The results look, well, flashier than JSP, JSF, Tapestry, or other web application frameworks that I've used (or been forced to use) on the job.

An emulator?!? Typical! Rolling Eyes That would explain why the Mac version was so shit compared to the Windows version!

That, therefore serves Clavia right, because it has now come back to shoot them in every toe, in both feet! Evil or Very Mad Laughing Laughing Laughing

The closest thing to Finale or Sibelius for the iPad:

Yes, it exports to MIDI.

It also doesn't parse note lengths. Which makes it exceedingly difficult to read score. It looks more like a toy than a tool. Any idea if this just represents a developer getting a foot in the door with a running prototype or the limits of the hardware?

Definitely a bigger screen would help but oh well. I'm LOVING it! I haven't worked with Rebirth for YEARS and years. Finally, a very useful tool for my i-Plod. A reason to keep it around for a while, finally. Smile

Try emailing the developer. Contact info is on the website (View Complete Profile).

I'll post my thoughts on the iPhone forum. I just bought it.

Very nice. I like.

I had a Pac Man electronic game that looked like that (mini arcade style form factor). It was loud as hell though.
