I've been wondering is it possible to patch (well, it is possible to patch it, but does it work) the (for example) sequencer gate and pitch signals to 2 outputs and then connect them to an analog synth...I know this is possible with Creamware sound card in conjunction with Creamware Modular III software...

What you are actually looking for is a midi to CV interface?

And this is just a small selection of what is out there..

It's a nice idea, I think you will find the AC coupled outputs will not work the way you want. If you are into hardware, with a couple of dollars worth of IC's you could make a demultiplexer. Then you could use the virtual multiplexer and vco (for a clock) to rout 8, 16 or whatever cv's using only two of the G2 outputs. If I still had an analogue modular, that's what I would do. Or maybe an 'of the shelf' midi-cv would be better? Then you could still use output 2 and 3 for audio.
