In the past I have got lots of great ideas from this forum so in order to give something back I'd like to share with you my Wrongomin. Which is a simple CMOS noise maker which uses three LDRs to control the pitch of 3 very high frequency oscillators (1/2 a 40106B) which are all usually well above the range of human hearing. The three oscillators are mixed through signal diodes where they interfere with each other and are amplified using half a 4049UB.

It sounds simple and it is but it's surprisingly playable - see video.

The schematic is here: http://leafcutterjohn.com/?p=1128

Let me know what you think.

Thanks and all the best,

John.

Thanks for the nice welcome!

It's a nice simple starter circuit, I'm really getting into the sonic wonders of CMOS.

See you again very soon!

John.
