Hi again
I am wondering about changing out the grey doepfer knobs for something a bit more retro looking.( As my system has yet to arrive I do not have the chance to have a proper look under the hood.)
And I am sure I have seen somewhere that someone has done this to their Doepfer modular and was wondering if it would be possible and where would be a good place to source knobs for Eurorack modules.
Many thanks again for any help someone could offer.
Nick

im not sure how retro you wanna go, but im sure you could replace your knobs with abunch of small brass pipe or pressure fittings of some sort and go for a really retro steampunky look. You could even mark an indicator line with abit of clear tape and a thin-line sharpie.

its what im doing.

edit, you could also put an epoxy-line as an indicator line, or a sharpie with a spray of clearcoat to seal it, for a cleaner look than lines on a swatch of tape.
