would there be any issue with changing the 25k speed/cv pot from 25k to 50k? i'm thinking it's just a divider, and buffered at that, but just wanted to check.

i want to add a range control, by being able to switch in/out a different timing cap on the PLL using a push/pull switch on the pot, and i can't find 25k switching pots....

It looks like it should work fine to me. At worst the response slope of the pot would be slightly different, probably not even noticeable.

Take care,
Doug

I used a 50k pot on mine and it didn't cause me any issues.

It is a brilliant noise source by the way!

Cheers,

agreed... even more with the cap mod, it becomes a wonderful correlated-random pulse source.

What size of timing cap are you using for the second one?

Take care,
Doug
