There were two more loops from the washing back to blue hell mixer and also back to steve mixer, although Steve will claim inaudibility but the link was still there! _________________ Jan

Here's my set. I used a Moog Voyager, Yamaha RM1X, Korg ESX1, and Ableton Live with an Akai MPK 49 controller. |
That was/IS a great set! reminded me of Massive Attack's song 'angel' (the two mix very well together btw) but with a bit of a psychedeliotronic twist.
I'm wondering how you got that massive bassline,.. _________________ "My perf, it's full of holes!"

I guess I will just have to set edcast levels so it doesn't go below the red at any time. |

I'd like to apologize for not making a bigger announcement for when Eike and I streamed a bit last saturday. Especially since I've ranted a bit myself that stuff doesn't get announced.
I was wondering (and this is just a thought without knowing the difficulty involved), would it be possible to have an RSS or something similar specifically for live events on the open or official port? That way those who are interested could get a notification pushed to them and they could tune in. I don't always have the electro-music.com forum open so I can see the streaming header.
Maybe there is something more suitable than RSS...

Don't blame yourself too much Stefan, you have been pretty clear that you would maybe stream, nothing promised, which makes it hard to announce.

I think it's possible to get an RSS feed of any thread on the forum, so it could be as simple as opening a topic and people posting on it ... however ... would people post ... maybe it could be a bot watching port 8056 for title changes ... apart from that people should be allowed to announce stuff manually as well I guess ... bu8t just manual posting ... dunno ... people would forget and would be too lazy _________________ Jan

Oh, and appart from that I would like to have a banner for the open port just like we have it for the main port ... not sure how to do it yet ... I would like the banner to be publicly alterable as well, but that does not sound like a very good idea for a thing displayed on all forum pages
Anyway, I'm thinking about stuff like this, and maybe at some unpredictable time things will come together and I'll make some code ... until then ... ideas are welcome, especially when they make things more simple _________________ Jan
