Main out & aux outs louder than individual voice outs? |
|
|
I am a new owner and realize this is maybe a simple question, but...
The main & aux outs seem to be softer than the individual voice outs.
Why seems my other synths mains are way louder, but there has got to be a reason... mixing mode? |

don't let a turned down VCA fool you.
Or perhaps there is a signal attenuation switch or jumpers inside.
or...? |

there has to be some mixing between the individualvoicesout and the mix/main /aux outs. + the volumepot.
so both will let you loose a little in volume.
however it's signal/noise ratio and overall main/aux output level are more than good enough to mho.
anyway congratualtions with your good ears , ? did you also find that the aux out seems a little more direct in sound than the mainout ? ( lots of discussion on that one in the past ) |

When using the same presets, the Ind. Voice outputs are still louder than the Main or the Aux outputs! I checked all the volume settings I could. Is there a Voice volume or something when using the main or Aux outputs?
I am not using mix mode just presets in program mode. |

the indiv voices out , ARE louder then the aux/ main.
with aux/main some extra mixing and volumepots are required. so the individual out will always be "hotttest"
in general the two ways to contol volume are volume , on the right side ,near the pan, good for the indiv voice or aux or main ( not independent!), and the mainvolume on the left, only for the mainout
besides volume can also be controlled the "normal way" via level in pre/postmix, and/or level of the eg. |

best /loudest isn't always most used/ normal
it's easier that way, no need of external mixer by example.
that's what i meant |
