Hi

I find the concept of the Chameleon quite interesting and since I have some programming skills I was really considering getting one and try to develop some software for it.

Right now I am also in need of some effects processors.
I was considering getting some Nord Modular G2 Engines for that task (and to sequence other equipment too), but since to have multiple algorithms available might be nice, I was thinking of getting some more units for that task.
Would the Chameleon be a good unit for external processing?

Thanks in advance,
Best

Yes, I think it works fine as a processor. There's always the existing FX oriented skins, but if you want to code your own algorithms the limit is the sky. Well, actually the limit is that of a 100MHz Motorola DSP56303 with 4M words of DRAM and the 40MHz Coldfire host CPU... Smile That's a limit that should allow for a lot of good FX.
