Final date candidates - please help choose |

Working with the Cheltenham Arts Center, we have narrowed it down to two weekends for the electro-music 2005 event, see: http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-4318.html
The final weekend candidates are May 20-22 or June 3-5
Please help us pick the best weekend. Let us know which is best for you, and which you would think would be best in general.
Thanks... _________________ --Howard

I must apologize. Doing things online and without too much self censorship can show some of the rough edges on our organizational skills. We visited with the Cheltenham Arts Center people today and found that there are two addional weekends that are available.
June 17-19 and June 24-26
If you have any feelings one way or the other, let us know.
The CAC people are just fantastic. I'll post some pictures I took today very soon on another topic. _________________ --Howard

I just called Continental Airlines. They said that the fares from every country are different, but in general the best fares are from April 1 to June 10. The trip has to be completed by June 10, else if is more expensive.
It's a pretty significant difference. Round trip from Amsterdam to Newark is about $375 before June 10 and $570 afterwards. Newark is Continental's east coast hub. Other airlines will have different prices, but this is just an example that demonstrates the magnitude of the cost differentials. I think this information eliminates from contention the last two weekends in June.
Once again, please let us know your thoughts and concerns. We're going to finalize this within the next two days. _________________ --Howard

I vote for the weekend in 'Junk'.
Sorry. Couldn't resist! It was cracking me up.
Seriously, let's shoot for June 3-5 for the sake of our overseas friends! _________________ "Pop music is for sheep and we are wolves disguised as shepherds." |

We have decided on the dates, June 3-5, 2005.
We've got a bit of work to do before we announce this officially, but the date is finalized, so start making your plans. We haven't figured out the exact registration fee yet, but figure about $50 for the three days. That's not a final figure, so don't hold us to it, but it's in the ball park. If anyone thinks this is outrageous, please let us know... _________________ --Howard
