This is not an entry for the EM Field Recording Composition, but because of the use
of the recorded sounds I think this is the best place to post it.

Needs More Popcorn! Popcorn time

Good stuff Phobos, very creative and artistic I enjoyed this little track a lot, its different, but thats the best thing about it. I enjoyed the sounds. Really great arrangement too.Well done. Enjoyed

Hello,

This composition project is a brilliant idea. So I thought I'd give it a try. I used six wav files posted on the "Media on the forum" section that I mashed and choped. Here the list :

Edison Rex (Rain 2)
Inventor (Sword Sharpening)
Killer Haven (Mandala Painting)
Muied Lumens (Tea Time)
Phobos (Binaural - Rain recording, Dictaphone Noises 1)

I hope I got the rules right. Not sure if I had to do my own field recording here. Anyhoo. Here's the piece :

Jérôme Poirier
Retorts - 4'35 (feat. Edison Rex, Inventor, Killer Haven, Muied Lumens, Phobos)
http://phawx.squarespace.com/storage/impros/2010/october/retorts_jerome-poirier.mp3

Will send an email with the WAV version link to João right now.
Thanks for making this site and this collab project.

W Laughing W ! Helluva first post!

welcome Jerome

I believe you got it right. If you wanted to use any of your own field recs, we just asked to upload and share them with everyone. You can process & edit samples however you like.

Thanks Shane for your welcome and for clarifying the rules. No recent unprocessed field recordings kept on hand. So the contribution went ok. Email sent. Nice project really ! Keep up the good work. I'm checking the radio right now. Good good !

welcome Jerome!

The music sounds nice, but could you please choose some other way than the current embedding? Now when I view this thread in Chrome I hear it automatically every time...

thanks

/Stefan

Hi Antimon,

Sorted.
I actually followed Jack Hertz's advice and it worked just fine with Firefox. I let the mp3 link and deleted the embed code.

Cheers.
