Hi,

I am looking for an elegant way to derive a sawtooth from a triangle waveform or vice versa. The two waves should have the same frequency and should be in phase when they start their cycles.

For instance, I can use a slew limiter with adjustable rise and fall times on a triangle waveform. If the fall time = 0, then it slews only the rise and thus produces an up saw but it's not a very "clean" saw. It's important that the ramp is as linear as possible.

Another way is to fully rectify a sawtooth; this however produces a tri with half the frequency. Plus it has an offset.

I have a few more ideas, but I am looking for the more direct way to do this.

A couple of methods in this patch. Purple modules give a triangle with same frequency, phase and no offset. Green module gives a triangle that has (I think) 90 phase shift from the first triangle.
