Which interface to use with laptop?

I have a Nord Modular and just got a new laptop with Windows 7 on it, what is the easiest/best/cheapest way to connect the Nord to the laptop?

I have an M-Audio Midisport 2x2 USB midi interface that works fine!

I also have a CME U2MIDI wich sends and receives regular midi data but for some reason does not work with the Modular editor.

i use an edirol um2 which runs both my modular and micro modular and just to add i use an old beat up sony laptop and i very rarely have any problems

I use an edirol thingie too here (um-3ex), under Vista. That works fine for me.
