Enjoying your shows very much, Steve! That last one shows that you do just as good whether no matter how much you have prepared. Not saying you shouldn't prepare, there are different qualities to a well put together DJ set as when it's all improvised - all worthwhile. _________________ Antimon's Window

Thanks; I enjoy these featured artists shows. And thanks for posting the file so others can download it as an individual track.

I am not sure if the weather will permit a show on Sunday 28 August 2011. High winds (possibly 60-90 mph gusts) and heavy rain (flooding) are predicted for my area due to Hurricane Irene.

Thanks. It wasn't as bad as predicted, but I had to spend a couple of hours that I would have used for prep time vacuuming/pumping water out of the basement. I was exhausted, but I ended up doing an improv--"In the Wake of Irene."

Yesterday's show (Episode 42) needs to be tweaked as the levels of the songs played were a bit low. In the meantime, here are the improvs. I turned the introductory improv into a "radio cut" after first dividing it into two separate parts. Part 1 seemed to stand as a complete work; part 2 didn't. Combined, the "radio cut" runs approx. 6:08. I then processed Part 1 (dynamics compensation, slight fade in, different fade out) which runs approx. 3:38.
Playlist for the show:
-----------------------------------
Introductory Improv.
Antimon - Pea Pod
Strobe & Wollymammoth - A Little Song About Love
Q - Cinq
Bubzy - 8-25-2011 Improv
PH0BoS - Solenoid Pianoid
Concluding Improv

Egads!!!! I listened to this (Episode 41: "In the Wake of Irene") for the first time yesterday. Parts of it are nice, but parts of it are as traumatic as a hurricane! Some parts are nice and mellow; other parts might jump out and howl. Listen at your own risk!!! |
