Enjoying your shows very much, Steve! That last one shows that you do just as good whether no matter how much you have prepared. Not saying you shouldn't prepare, there are different qualities to a well put together DJ set as when it's all improvised - all worthwhile. _________________ Antimon's Window

Episode 35 starts with a short improv (approx. 8 minutes) using the Casio VZ-8m (iPD synth engine) with ART SGX Nitro for FX. The rest of the show consists of recently posted and historical tunes the electro-music archives. I will try to find the playlist and/or listen to the show to post the contents here.

Not exactly Episode 36:
I had cancelled the show because the Kansas City electro-music Festival (22 July --> 24 July) was supposed to be on. That didn't happened, so I turned on my gear and did a Sunday Improv in lieu of a show. At the end, my air conditioned kicked in and caused the audio to drop out several several times. So I faded the improv out just before the first drop out. I also took out the introductory and concluding chatter.

Thanks; I enjoy these featured artists shows. And thanks for posting the file so others can download it as an individual track.

I am not sure if the weather will permit a show on Sunday 28 August 2011. High winds (possibly 60-90 mph gusts) and heavy rain (flooding) are predicted for my area due to Hurricane Irene.

Thanks. It wasn't as bad as predicted, but I had to spend a couple of hours that I would have used for prep time vacuuming/pumping water out of the basement. I was exhausted, but I ended up doing an improv--"In the Wake of Irene."

Egads!!!! I listened to this (Episode 41: "In the Wake of Irene") for the first time yesterday. Parts of it are nice, but parts of it are as traumatic as a hurricane! Some parts are nice and mellow; other parts might jump out and howl. Listen at your own risk!!! |
