I had the probably naive idea that in a polyphonic patch, I might be able to store a different note in each voice of a SeqNote module, so I cobbled up the attached patch to test the hypothesis. The patch is simple, either recording in all voices or playing back in all voices.

What I found was really weird. If I hold down the record button and play a chord, apparently the SeqNote module records only a single note of that chord in all voices. Except that sometimes it records all three notes in a single step, but not in the others.

Am I missing something here? Is there no reliable way to talk a SeqNote into recording a different note in each voice?

 Description:
Hold the first button in panel A1. While doing so, play and hold a 3-note chord. Let it fill the sequencer, then release the button.

I would expect the chord to continue to sound, but what happens on my G2 is that only one note sounds--except sometimes

Can't you use voicenumber to route a value for each voice to a separate noteseq? Connect Status - Voice. No to a MUX (control input). Use output from keyboard to input and route the output to rec input on 8 noteseq or less if polyphony is less.

Route the outputs into a mux and control it with the same voice.no.

I'm puzzled -- when I try your version, I can hold down the button, then hold a 4-note chord, but what eventually comes out is not the four notes of the chord.

I just asked the same sort of thing over here:

This seems a more appropriate forum.
