Magnetic Sound Collective opens Jan. 28th.

Magnetic Sound Collective, founded and owned by Jessica Waters of Magnetic Wind, opens Friday, January 28th.

The idea is simple. Provide a resource and hybrid label that is listener and artist friendly, making releases available to listeners free, legally with the option to pay what you want or through traditional purchasing prices and do it in a ecoconscious way; removing any traditional philosophy that consists of “you can have it if you can buy it”. This puts great music in the hands of anyone and everyone that wants it. It also allows the listener to choose what level of financial support they want to provide for the music.


Magnetic Sound Collective focuses on atmospheric, sleep, ethereal, space, meditative, piano and vocal ambient, Musique concrète and sound healing, as well as some music that would fit into the new age genre. The Mousai Project focuses on the development and promotion of female only ambient. Asphotic focuses on dark ambient, dark wave, ethereal wave, musique concrete and drone.
