Thanks for a lovely event - awesome music all around! Very Happy

Here's my set. Here are the main components I used to make sound:

* A G2 delay that was time-modulated by the audio (mostly filtered noise) from a MFOS SoundLab Ultimate
* A guitar through the Electroharmonix H.O.G., having fun with freeze+gliss
* An Octatrack doing some rythmic stuff and pitched-down talking
* A G2 playing some chords and random sequences using internal sounds and MIDI to an Origin
* A PEK run through a vocoder

I'm kind of happy with the dynamics on this one. It has quiet parts that still don't completely disappear, and loud parts that still don't punch you in the face.

Edit: didn't get the list stuff to work - put asterisks in there instead. Wow, the file uploaded lightning-fast today!

Here's my set. Not perfect, the gremlins were active.

Still not a bad set content wise. Said what I wanted.

And mine ... I cut it off a bit at the beginning & end .. ran out of ideas at the end ... erm well .. it could have worked if I'd have had 15 minutes left instead of 5.

Hey all,
Wonderful event. I'm very happy to have been a part of another solstice/equinox concert.
My set is attached.
You may distribute, make copies do whatever as long as it's not for profit and credit is given.
I'll post edits in the media forums.
Peace

And the chatroom thingie - forgot to hit record for the first 15 minutes, the rest is present.

For this one PHOBoS participated with the spring board he made for the occasion - thanks PHOBoS I loved that springboard!

What else was used ... a PC program to speak what was typed into the chat and that also translated chat text into MIDI messages controlling a couple of G2 patches. I moved the faders a bit during the session.

Thanks to all who participated and listened!

Here's my set from the show. These songs are a random selection of rough and incomplete mixes that may be included on my next release. This file was burned from the original mixes. So you will want to listen to this even if you tuned in live because I had a little bit of loop-back echo on my broadcast that didn't compliment the stream. EMjoy them here the way they should sound.

Tracks in order of play are:

Augenic
Deep Sea
Beathe
Pacifica
Mbira Cantation
Sandalwood
Wavedance
Red-40

Again a very nice event with excellent music Very Happy

As usual, I premiered some new stuff. The performance wasn't exactly 100% as I planned because one sequence was a little "out of control" but, after listening to it again, I found it just OK and decided to take those recordings for a final release.

So, here are two pieces from my set:

"Nightshade (Mitternacht)"

http://www.hrastprogrammer.com/industronika/HrastProgrammer_17_Nightshade.mp3

"Quark"

Well, here I am feeling like the Gremlinmeister of the week!

I don't have a file of my set but if you just put on a pair of headphones without playing anything then that's all you need!

But, no disaster is a complete disaster if one learns from the experience -- they don't call it "the school of hard knocks" for nothing!

What occured was the loss of my clock signal between the clock mixer and the slaved devices (i.e., envelope generators, sequencers, s/h). The master clock divider was working fine and the clock mixer was fine (though, in reality, it is just a general purpose mixer -- it works for clock signals but wasn't optimized for them) -- the output of the clock mixer is ok -- however there is a problem that would appear to be an open signal or a short to ground either in the patchcords or jack multiple. This would be easy enough to find by simply switching to another multiple and/or removing patch cords one-by-one until the clock signal works again.

To perform a real-time set on the modular is an application that stretches me and the instrument -- and to be honest, the clock routings can be as complicated as the signal routings.

I have wanted to design a module that is dedicated to clock routing and control and this situation forces the issue. It has become apparent that I need a better method to route and control clock signals.

So, back the drawing board!

Well, everyone in the chat room was patient and supportive and I appreciate the opportunity to participate in streaming broadcasts.

Thanks to everyone and, once again, my apologies for the lack of musical output on my set.

Hello

I had my Klee sequencer running my ASM-2 synth for the main sequence riff , Mfos Soundlab ++ for sequence 2 & my newest diy module - bugbrand triple random pattern generator, running 3 Mfos vco's for different noises & bleeps .

Roland TD electronic drum kit played in the middle rock section with a Novation bass station keyboard run through my zoom guitar fx pedal board.
Had great fun doing this Smile .
