Hi all,

Recently got myself an A6. It's in very good condition the sounds is just phenomenal!

However I've noticed in the last few days the front panel controls have been a bit intermittent, some not responding much if at all.

I've been moving it about a bit so I'm wondering is something working itself loose.

Is this a known problem, or should I be digging out the screw driver and reseating the connectors?

OK, so I tried it now. I fiddled around with the global controls a bit and suddenly the controls came back to life... weirrrrd!

Are they always this temperamental?

I know at one stage the controls would jitter, even just one pot doing that would make the whole machine act erratic.

I believe there was one OS update that attempted to fix it

Just go through each pot and give it a twist to clear it up

It had started working again but not quite perfectly. I took your advice and low and behold it seems to be just fine.

Thanks!

i sometimesclean the synth's with a vacuumcleaner.
do a nylonstocking around the pipe just to make sure no bigger parts or knobs are suck in too.
this works out very fine to clean the pushingbuttons etc , at least for me.
plus i always use a dustcover when not using
