I am a new G2x owner and wanted to say Hi !

I am impressed by the sonics possibilities of this synth but am still learning it (I will be learning it for a long time I think).

So far there is just one thing missing (at last for me): the unisson feature. I remember Clavia put one in the Nord Lead 3 which was really good and did not steal any polyphony (if I quite remember). It could make a huge difference when you're after warm and fat sounds...

Why isn't it implemented in the G2 ?

Hi & welcome to the forum Zebulon.

I think the reason it didn't get implemented as a direct feature on the G2 could be that it is a synth of a different nature than the NL3. Ehm ... that is, I'm having trouble seeing how this should work on a modular synth - which doesn't mean too much probably :-)

When you use the forum's search feature with the word unisson on the NM section you might find some info about the subject - although I may be mistaken about that (the discussion could have been on the NM mailing list instead, which is a bit harder to search though).

Anyway, have fun learning, it can be great fun !

Jan.
