Hi,

Thanks for keeping us updated. DonĀ“t worry,I guess nobody is in a hurry here... _________________ Best regards

Boards are in, everybody who pre-ordered check your inboxes/junk mail folders for your invoices. |

Is it possible my board is waiting for me at home? Wife reports a suspicious package arrived from TX...I've got so many orders waiting to come in I can barely remember what I've ordered!
...Now I need about a 6 month vacation in order to get all these things built _________________ Looking for a certain ratio since 1978 |

Yep, cute little board...now maybe I should look at some documentation?
Gotta get some parts, too. Crystals. Who knew I'd be needing these things so much? _________________ Looking for a certain ratio since 1978 |

The top is just big fills for the power supply. I always wind up with some awkward looking shapes when I do that.
I've updated the PDF documentation for this project to include some example panel wiring to show different options for building this circuit. |

this thing is killer. i've just bought it blind, like BMC arpeggiator i'm in, without knowing the details. hehe.
i have one question about the schottky diodes. i have no clue which ones to use. but i have BAT42 and BAT46 here, will any of them work or should i go shopping again?
also: according to the BOM there are no 10N caps, just 100N, but the silkscreen has 10Ns. what is the right value here? and do they need to be film caps or are ceramic ok?
thanks! this will be great! |

Thanks for bringing that typo to my attention, I'm gonna go update the documentation. It should be 100n caps. Except for one spot, this isn't a critical value, if you've got spare 10n caps or 47n caps on hand, go ahead and use them. Also, ceramics will work fine.
The one cap that has a critical value is the one used in the Low pass filter off of the PWM. This cap is easy to spot on the board because it's oriented 90 degrees differently from every other cap on the board. This should always be a 100n.
Either of those schottkys should be fine. |
