[ANN] CNMAT MaxMSPJitter Summer Courses 2011!
Subject description: Courses in Max/MSP/Jitter
|CNMAT presents our intensive and immersive summer workshops for artists, musicians, interface designers, and anyone wanting to improve their skills with Max/MSP/Jitter or learn from scratch. The courses will be taught by programmers and artists with a great deal of experience both using and teaching the software. By the end of the workshops, students should be able to construct sophisticated, robust patches.
The classes each day will consist of two lectures separated by lab sessions where the students will receive one-on-one attention from the instructors and assistants. All students, regardless of their skill level, are encouraged to attend all of the sessions throughout the day.
The schedule will be as follows:
July 18-22, 2011
10am-12pm: Beginning/Intermediate Max/MSP Programming
1-3pm: Beginning/Intermediate Lab
3-5pm: Open Lab/Special Topics (topics will include Max for Live, gestural controllers and eTextile sensing)
5-6pm: Dinner Break
6-9pm: Advanced Max/MSP Programming
Pricing: As always, we try to keep our workshop fees as reasonable as possible. In past years the combined cost of Day+Night School would be $1000 ($550+$450) for 2011 the total cost is only $750 for the entire week.
How do I sign up? Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, indicating which course (or courses) you are interested in.
