I'll take one, and a UART. Which UART does it require?

Hi.

The old Harris name for it is the IM6402IPL, and the newer Intersil version is the HD3-6402R-9Z. You don't need the mil-spec version, or the faster 8mHz version. The regular 2mHz version of any of them will work fine. My two perfboard prototypes used the old IM6402s, and I believe Matthias's build used a newer Intersil chip.

cheers,
Dave

I'd be interested in 1 PCB too please - I have the UART already, amongst my old computer chip stock.

Looks like a useful device

Did you already find some time to do this? Smile

Up me to the 1 pcb + uart.

Any chance for a BOM before the order time ends?

Oops,
I'd be in for one of these and a UART as well if there's still space on the bus...?

not with the klee, however, yesterday i did a simple quick and dirty demo with cubase and my BinSeq module:

Dave Kendall MIDI 2 Clock Converter (short demo) from fonitronik on Vimeo.

This is a short vid demontrating the basic functions of Dave Kendall's CMOS based MIDI 2 Clock Converter.

For the patch i use the M2C (controlled by Cubase), my new BinSeq (divider/attenuverter based sequencer), Boogdish's simple Quantizer and my dual X-4046 VCO (Thomas Henry).

For clocking the BinSeq i use the gate out of the M2C, the stop out resets the BinSeq. So each time i stop the Cubase sequencing software the BinSeq gets a reset. When staring the pattern from the beginning, the sequencer is in sync again.

Yes sold some stuff I rarely used to get other things, and then got bogged down in repairs and builds for others. But getting back into my modular now...

Just to confirm - I need the UARTS with my 2 pcb's. Thanks!

Great demo. I can't wait to get my other projects completed and hook them up with this.
