Comes as no surprise Col,
Andromedas are one of the highest thought of synths within the Trance genre.
Have a look at some of the Alan M stuff.

For what its worth Id bet Tiesto couldn't write a tune for toffee by himself.
He will be surrounded by top producers he will hire for the mega bucks he earns each DJ gig.
This is the same for all top tier musicians regardless of genre.
Hence how I have so much respect for Alan M. He's an unsigned bedroom producer with no help from anyone.
Hope you enjoy the links. If your a Trance head like me, you will :] |

Yeah, Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Orbital, and Solar Fields are some big dance names off the top of my head that have an A6. It's still a software genre for the most part, but I've noticed the A6 pop up in electronic dance as there's been a slight shift back to a more hybrid hardware-software studio. |

Soundwave.
Sadly I think most genres of electronic music are software these days. I bloody hate software. It is the most dull and uninspiring environment to work within for me. I understand other may not think this way but its how I see it.
I sit there thinking gazing at a laptop "studio" and my subconscious cannot comprehend were going to write some music and instead goes into letter writing word processing mode.
With even the very best trance music earning the producers little to zero money (unless you are one of the top DJs or top label owner) I see there needing to be more emphasises on having great fun in the writing process than ever before. TBH, there is little else as an incentive. |

The BBC is running a series on songwriting, Guy Chambers (song writer) has one in his studio. _________________ http://soundcloud.com/Mefistophelees |
