White Noise through Amp Env

Dear all

I d like use my Mono Evoler to process extrenall sound. I want to add the white noise of the evolver to the external sound. So if I play a note from an external synth going into evolver, I d like to add a bit of white noise from the evolver. The AMP of the white noise of the Evolver must be controlled from the VCA ADSR Env, but the VCA Envolpe must shape only the white noise of the evolver and not the external source. So VCA level (baseline) of the Evolver must be set to zero.

Does anyone have an idea how to achieve this?

I don't have any Evolver at hand but here are my thoughs.

I guess you have to use another envelope and ensure MIDI is connected so that that envelope is triggered only on notes. This way, your VCA can be open without throwing the noise all the time.

Or… you may use the envelope follower to drive the noise level. No need for MIDI this way.
