Hi!
My name is Istvan Kaldor, .... I am a 'silent reader' of this forum for a while ....
See attached file ...
This is an experiment of porting a 12 db resonant LPF from SynC Modular.
Seems to work, I didn't know if it is possible to build your own filters for the G2 by low level DSP, ... really cool .....
(note: Sorry, I don't know how does the filter works, I just ported. Smile)

welcome ik. Glad you decided to climb out of the woodwork...

This is really cool. Not only does this filter sound great, but you made it pretty much out of multipliers and mixer module. Can you explain how this works? Did you start with a formula or something?

Here is the original SynC Modular "source code" Very Happy .
See image attached.
I am not a DSP guru but one could relay back from the image to the original C++ code. (I'll check the archive, it is probably not too difficult to figure out.)
This is really neat since it looks like one could build any (??) desired filters, OSCs ... (??) from the original C++ codes in the G2.

This is brilliant. The Z-1 (1 sample delay) modules are not required because of the 1 sample feedback delay in the mixers.
A ShpStatic (4th shape) on the Frequency input exponentialises the response quite well.
Must dig out my sync-c Stilson filter.

First, I tried to stick delays into the feedback loops, then I found out
no need for those. I wondered why... Very Happy

So, The G2 mixers could be used as Z-1 modules? ... A .... ha.

BTW. SynC Modular has more then enough material (filters, OSCs .... ) to port. ... Smile

Shocked

An entire project unto itself! What an amazing revelation, here...
I hope this takes off as I'm eager to learn these very principles.

Sorry Sad , ... the previous file had the wrong output.
Here is the corrected one. LP/BP/HP outputs added.
