Hi Yves and all,
I just finished to build a dual gated slew that works fairly well.
I've noticed a few oddities, tho:
1. In linear mode the slew rate is much faster than in log mode, expecially when going down on the keyboard;
2. In log mode, when in UP or DOWN position, there is a small lag in the opposite direction.
Nothing tragic but I would like to know if it's a normal behavior for this module.
Thank you for your splendid work and support

Cheers

Marco

Yes that's perfectly normal because in linear mode the slope remains constant during the charging of the capacitor and therefore it reaches the complete load very quickly compared to the log mode where the slope keeps decreasing while the cap gets loaded.

Once again it's normal it is due to the fact that the diodes are silicon diodes, this small lag could be reduced by using euther germanium or shottky diodes.

Hi Yves.

just finished this module and i think its working ok till i found this post and i was not sure if its ok.
in the linear mode the glide is not so noticeable, only when i turn the pot all the way up (fully CW) it works but very very gentle, not so noticeable compare to the log mode.
is there any way to increase the glide operation in linear mode?

one more thing...
i thought that if i plugin the gate the glide should work only when i press a note, keep on pressing and then press higher or lower note and only then glide will appear, is this how it suppose to work?
now its always working, no matter if i plugin the gate or not.
i must add that i used a switch instead of switch jack.
the next pic youll see how i used a switch, hope i made it ok.

i thank you for your help
Isak.
