Hi All,
The line inputs on my tube preamp are xlr, and the andy uses 1/4th so how should I get that hooked up? I was thinking direct box to convert it from 1/4th to xlr, but was thinking that could mess up my tone.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

i don't think a passive one messes up your tone so much
also there are some plugs with one side jack-in and the other xlr out.
another tip: order the free catalogue of music store koeln.
( or some shop like that )
site: http://www.musicstore.de/de_DE/EUR/
type in number :acc0001182 or acc0001181

Which preamp do you have?

Doesn´t the Andromeda have TRS balanced out?

I have a Presonus ADL 600, I'm trying to connect the andy to the xlr line inputs in the back of the unit.

Yup.. it works fine with the balanced line inputs.

The Andromeda has balanced trs out. So what you need are a cable or two with a TRS jack in the one end and an XLR plug in the other end. This is pretty standard stuff so most music stores will have have suitable cables in stock.
