Hi! I am now in the process of assembling the SN voice PCB which came Friday last week much to my joy and jollity.
I have done the resistors and am on to the caps.

I assumed that C5 poly 470pF meant polystyrene so I have a polystyrene!
It won't make a difference to the circuit will it???

A bit late on the reply BUT no problem there. C5 is the timing capacitor used in the 4046 VCO that generates the noise clock. This is not critical.

Superb, thanks Bill. The SN voice is just awaiting the 1k tempcos from mag smoke at the moment and an LM394 which I got for a few quid from China. I'm now considering how to use the banana sockets in the box i'm using to their best effect. Also had some nice results from an ssm2044 filter design to go with the design Smile
Thanks again!

AHHH, yes, a filter would just be perfect for this !! the SN Voice is such a great bass synthesizer and the filter would be just the final touch !

Sounds great ! Show it off when your done !
