I wrote this last night and recorded a version. It was awful but I slept on it and listened again this morning. It was still awful. I erased it and recorded "hold me, let go."

Then I went upstairs for a bite to eat. For some reason the "sleuth" theme kept playing in my head and wouldn't go away. So I went back to my mad scientist laboratory and this time everything went right that went wrong before. I really like this version.

Reminds me of the time I was going to throw away a song I'd written but played it for my band just to show them what crap it was. They loved it, we worked on it that night and it became one of our most requested songs.

The moral of the story is: I have no @#$% idea what I'm doing.
