I recently repurchased another G2 and I cannot get it to open the first performance instead of the first patch when powering up the G2..

One is a rack and the new one a keys?

edit: Embarassed engine, not rack.

No. It's an engine. My former G2 engine would open the first performance instead of the first patch upon powering up.

Ok, my engines do that too (boot into the first performance) - can be they have to be left in performance mode? don't have all the details there ... I picked it up from the manual tho, so must be somewhere in that.

Dumb ol me. The first performance saved was on #2. I just saved it to number one (which was not shown unless I hit ctrl-bank). Then I was able to save it to patch number one.

Haha...!
