Saw oscillators made by an accumulator (-64 -> +64) which resets itself at value 64 .....
.... then their pitch doubled .... take a look easy to follow...
"Symphony from Hell" sound from the G2 (for all guilty souls ... Laughing )

These patches with the low lever dsp stuff are facinating, but understanding them when you see them is not very intuitive. drunken cheese blackeye

Idea
This is the sawosc.
Here is how it works: the 'add' module and the 'reset' modules are looped. The output of the 'reset' module continuously monitored by the 'compare' module, and while B less the 64, then 1 added to the output.
When B reaches 64 it resets the output to -64 and the cycle starts again.

something like ...
B:=-64;
@
if B<=64 then
B:=B+1 else B:=-64;
goto @

Indeed facinating...

I wondered if it could run at audio rates (red/orange cables), so i tried to make it. And it is possible, see the attached performance, slot a is audio rate, slot b is control rate....

Now in slot a it will play a few octaves higher...

Nice stuff IK Smile

Ha .. ha this is great ... so you fooled the system, and now it runs at audio rates. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very neat trick ! ...

Let me try to do the same on the sawosc...

Works!
It gives 2 more octave! (Try the switch.)

Also, look at the patch! Once you "fooled" the system, you can remove the extra units, it "remembers", and runs as "red cables".

For info, I left in the bottom-right corner the "trick" how to ...
Once the network "turns" red, it could be rewired as the original .. Very Happy .
