Calendar Event: March 28, 2012

NM | Sunshine Daydream
Burlington | Chicago | Wednesday March 28

A night of abstract analog sound with performances by
Imaginary Softwoods
Rene Hell
Chemtrails

Imaginary Softwoods (Emeralds / Spectrum Spools / Outer Space) Long running project by Cleveland based musician and sound astronaut John Elliott. More subtle and subdued than his other projects, Imaginary Softwoods brings listeners to mellow states through an array of analog synthesizers & sequencers.

Rene Hell (Agents of Chaos / Type) is Jeff Witscher whose profile rose considerably with 2010's Porcelein Opera, a long player released by Type Records. Porcelein Opera may not have been the most disseminated work by the 27-year-old electronic artist, but it was just another step in Witscher's sonic journey. We are pleased to welcome him back.

Chemtrails (Pizza Night / Cylindrical Habitat Modules) Chicago's Jeff Host. Seemingly endless flowing tones that seep in like floating glitter, none of it sounds played, it just kind of appears. Otherworldly, bright and emotive.

$10 | 21+ | Doors at 9pm
