Hi guys.

as i understand the pin 5 of the 555 chip is CV in?
http://datasheetoo.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/LM555-Pinout-and-Connection-Diagram.jpg
my question is if i'll connect an external clock would it work?
lets say a sequencer clock or maybe silent way vst plug in?
if yes do you think i would need some components (resistors, caps etc..) for that?

thanks in advance,
Isak E.
