I really love the G2, but one area where it falls a bit short
is the delays. They're fine, but the amount of delay time
available is just too short (about 2.7 secs total, or apx 1 bar
at 90 BPM).

If there were a delay/sample memory expansion available at a
reasonable price (500 US, say) I'd buy it in a second.

Have you tried putting some delays in series?

Yes, I have some patches that do that.
It helps sometimes but not always.

What makes you think such a thing is even possible?

the new repeater shouldn't be much more than 500, that ought to do it.
