Posted Image, might have been reduced in size. Click Image to view fullscreen.

Tone2 has release Saurus. I'm a big fan of Markus Feil and Tone2 synths and use Gladiator and ElectraX on my albums and in live performance. Saurus model filters and oscillators at the circuit level, has a straight-forward interface great for controllerism, plus has a very cool modulation matrix and combined arp and gate. After using it all weekend I shot this video, and can vouch for it's low CPU usage. I think I hit 9% in this video. LFOs run at audio rate s well.

Checkout the video on YouTube with 256K audio http://youtu.be/-scMPERoIlQ

You can grab a demo here http://tone2.com/html/saurus_synthesizer__vst_au.html. Note skip the demo songs and just get in there and tweak :^)

I love Saurus. Its capable of some really ugly sounds, long pads and lush leads. And its so intuitive to use. Going to get the Gladiator next.
