A good link to sticky, I'd say. At one point in time any fanatic DIYer will want a scope. There's no reason not to at this low cost.

Been poking around at the last link I posted, it is actually not that light on features at all, pretty full featured thing, not as intuitive because of the deep menu structure with only four push buttons, but still.

I want one!

49USD, there's one with a bigger screen (but the same resolution) for 69USD.

Found a UK distributor, so I'll probably order one (I'm in NL so not in UK, but it is still easier to buy from within EU), it's 31GBP at that site.
Specially the 8 digital inputs seem very handy.

I bought one of those Xmega Protolabs - it's small and cute. Works OK too considering the price and size.

For PC users there is Visual Analyser. http://www.sillanumsoft.org/ Soundcard scope with frequency counter, THD, spectrum analyser, etc.
Freeware.
