I've just built the Yusynth ADSR, and all is working well, except for a strange problem...

If I play my keyboard (1 note at a time, releasing the key before the next note is played), the ADSR works fine, with a maximum sustain voltage of 9.4 volts.

BUT... if I play legato i.e. hold one note down, followed by another without releasing the first, the maximum sustain voltage reads 10.7 volts.

Obviously, when patching the ADSR into a VCF it means that the filter "opens" up much more when playing legato, which is sort of off putting.

Is there any way to "clamp" the output voltage so that this doesn't occur?

I've double checked everything, no errors on the PCB, all components correct.

As usual, any any would be appreciated.

Thanks.

What if you created a reference voltage (9.4v) with a couple resistors and a cap than ran a limiting diode from the ADSR output to this reference?
