Hi there,
Starting to debug my Klee and hit a problem with the manual load. It doesn't consistently load the pattern when I hit the button. Looking closely with a scope, I see that the push button gives a good pull to ground on the junction of R27 and C11. However, the pin 5 of U2 (the other side of C11) does not consistently give a negative pulse to ground. Sometimes it only drops a couple of volts, sometimes drops down to +5 volts. This means its output U2.6 doesn't give a predictable clean load pulse.

Anyone else hit this ?

Thanks from a newbie

Hi

There isn't a heck of a lot to go wrong at that point. Check, very carefully, that you are in the right holes and didn't inadvertently use a through-hole, and check your values. C11 is immediately suspect for a cold solder join. If everything else using U2 works, i wouldn't suspect U2 itself (it really sounds like you misplaced one of the resistors or the capacitor is faulty). Also check the join on the connector J2-3. Those connectors can be fiddly especially if you bent the finger getting it in.
