OP deleted.
For reasons I am not ready to share, this was a post I felt I should retract. I will not make a habit of this - I just had to for this particular post. Please accept my apologies. _________________ There's an invisible radio gnome playing a gong from a flying teapot - don't miss out! That sucks. What was the rule change? (I'm in Canada so I haven't heard about it).
Also, I am sure I am not the first to ask, but how do you compose music if you can't hear it? _________________ JacobWatters.com |

It's an FCC rule that I have come to understand a lot better since my OP, and I don't quite have such a problem with it. Let's just say I put my foot in my mouth.
But I will answer your other question. I have quite a bit of "residual" hearing, although it is hardly "residual" for me. I make use of two hearing aids.
For the last couple of months, I had an infection that, while cleared from my body as far as the ENT I saw could see, has left my ears operating at a level far below normal for me. It's been frustrating, to say the least. _________________ There's an invisible radio gnome playing a gong from a flying teapot - don't miss out! |

My wife was an ASL interpreter for many years (pre-children, at this point she is quite rusty and has mostly decided to take another career tack), so i was fairly concerned by your OP.
I'm glad to find out that it's not quite as bad as all that, and kudos to you for editing things when you realized. |

How do you interpret in ASL for pre-children?
Yeah, kind of embarrassed myself, but in my defense, I was extremely frustrated at the time I made my OP. _________________ There's an invisible radio gnome playing a gong from a flying teapot - don't miss out! |
